Trail Description: The Roughlock Falls Trail gently winds through a forest of birch and pine, some of which have been affected by beetle kill, adding a unique element to the scenery. The path is mostly dirt and loose gravel, with some concrete and wooden bridges near the falls, making for easy walking. The highlight of the trail is the series of waterfalls as Little Spearfish Creek cascades over limestone, creating a picturesque scene. The trail culminates at a small fishing pond with a small waterfall, offering another beautiful view. Be sure to notice the interesting rock formations along the way.
